Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Amy is the owner of Riverview Veterinary Clinic. Growing up in central Alberta, she was always drawn to sick, injured and orphaned animals, and for as long as she can remember she’s wanted to be a veterinarian.

Clinic Cat

My name is Linda, I often hear them call me Linda Listen, but I'm not sure why. I have a habit of stealing pens around the clinic, ideally right after someone uses it. I love to sit in our outgoing mail basket and yell at clients when they don't give me attention.

Clinic Cat

My name is Kevin, I was born in 2021 and have been at RVC since I was a kitten. I am nervous of new people but you will often see me roaming near large, calm dogs. I love food, belly rubs and very select people.

Clinic Cat

My name is Katniss and I was born in 2012. I have been at RVC since then, when I was brought in with my siblings. They have all found their fur-ever homes, but I chose to stay at RVC because everywhere else is scary...

You may see me up front, but I will probably run as soon as you look at me. Eye contact is scary. The staff here just let me do my thing so I’m pretty happy. Sometimes I will let them pet me but only when they are alone and when I choose to.
